Does anyone remember or have information about the board meeting when Mrs. Karen Trueblood got up and said something to the effect (not sure what her exact words were) about the firefighters? I'm not sure what her exact words were, but I remember people were agahst at the comment she made.

No, but whats that got to do with Mothers Day?

This would be a spot to wish your Mother a happy day, no?

For those of us who take the blog seriously, I agree with the anonymous who said what's that got to do with mothers day. Let's put the comments under the appropriate item discussed.

OK, Happy Mother's Day, but does anyone else have information about what Karen Trueblood said?

If you "take the blog seriously", you will notice that people post anything under any subject - that is, unless you've read the blog.

Yes, Happy Mother's Day all around. I will try and respond also to the one question as don't know where else to post it.

Mrs. Trueblood said to the board and the audience that she did not appreciate the men walking across her lawn to put a note on her door. She further stated that she was told if her house caught on fire, they would not put it out. There seemed to be no direct purpose to these comments. It was like she wanted some attention.

Now wait a second previous blogger. What was said to Mrs. Trueblood after she said "I hope you all lose your jobs" was "who will be there to put house out if it catches on fire?" That is the absolute truth! I heard it with my very own ears. That was not a threat, it was a simple question. I seem to remember supporters of some of her husbands co-horts walking across my lawn handing out flyers (last year for Mr. Fagan).

She always wants attention. It's pathetic. I hope she has a good mothers day though.

Thank you. I was just curious what she said. I've been hearing this hub-bub and been wondering what was said. With everything happening in Crestwood, she must be relieved that her husband is out of the spotlight.

No, I think she enjoys having him in the spotlight, that way she can also get into it along side him. She hates term lomits!

Originally it was mrs. t. who wanted to run for alderman. Mr. Jim Murphy worked with her explaining all that was needed to run for the office, then there was a change of plans and the Mr. decided to run and again with Mr. Murphys help. Then he won and turned sour on Mr. Murphy and now never misses a chance to say something mean about him. That;s gratitude.

Happy Mother's Day to little Hailey Ford's mother. Such a beautiful little girl. These are the things that make life worthwhile; as someone said, if I knew grandchildren were so wonderful, I'd have had them first.
