Tom,
The Chicago baseball fan hasn't a clue to what baseball means to this area, and I want to keep them that way. Main reason they are in the dark is they havent had seen professional baseball game in decades.
It's like the joke "why dont the Cubs have a web site? Because they can't get three W's in a row."
Anyway, thought I'd check in to see what is up on your blog before Karen and I drive to Jefferson City to watch our son Jonathan run in the Missouri State Finals Cross Country meet. Yes, after two years of hard work, he made it to State.
I felt this was the one thread I could post on without starting a fire storm about politics, and not have that turn into mean, hurtful, personal attacks. Anonymous postings allow for that, so I again will sign my name as you do on my blog.
Baseball is above poltitics.
