Crestwood picks up a liquor license with the $1.00 dollar parking deal!

Well folks if you were wondering what "other considerations" meant in the land deal for the pool parking lot, I think we found it. It seems that a liquor license has been issued to the swim club (as it should have been,) but the license is issued for 904 Rayburn Av. Where is that you ask? Well that is the 54 space parking lot deeded to Crestwood for "$1.00 and other consideration" in the Kohl's TDD deal. Now that same 904 was the pool tennis courts, and all was well then, but now things have changed (the TDD.)

It seems that the holders of the licence forgot to transfer it to the pool address (1275 So. Sappington,) so I am not sure that it's valid, and if it is,what is the liability to the City as the property owner? In my opinion the City does not need the potential liability that goes with the license. It's their license, but it's our property! Will the owners of the licence please transfer it to the correct address ASAP so were off the hook? I hope so.

Had to post something about the pool Tom, since no one seems to give a hoot about your blog unless it is pool related. Right?

2:54 PM blogger: Please go on the state liquor control web site and tell me what you see!

Next look up the official plats for the properties at St. Louis County.

Now when you have all that in your hot little hands please come back and tell us what they say, because they think it's so, I think it's so, and the only one who seems to doubt it it you!

The records are what they are, I didn't file them, but someone sure did (by the way the name on the liquor license is a pool member.)

But I guess I would dispute it too if I had the potential for a liquor control investigation at my door step.

All you need to do is change the address on the license, and it is a non issue, so what's the problem?

Why dont you call the FBI, the liquor control, the Crestwood Police, Catherine Barrett, County Police, The U.S. Government, Elliot Davis, Jay Nixon. While you keep busy doing that, everyone else will go enjoy the parade tommorow.

God idea, but I have allready contacted the Crestwood Police, the County Police, the division of liquor control, and the BOA with this information, and it's in their capable hands!

Gee, now I can go to the parade knowing that another wrong has been righted.

By the way the FBI is looking into another project for me, and they woulden't be interested anyway (local thing you know.)

You have the right idea though, now if we can only get the "responsible parties" to start doing the right thing, we can all go to the parade!

Tom,

Was this deal for a $1.00 legal if Rosebrook Real Estate Company never received a check from the City of Crestwood for $1.00?

Is there a cancelled check for a $1.00 written by the City of Crestwood to Rosebrook Real Estate Company?

Who deposited the $1.00 check and into which account?

ask former Alderman Gary Vincent who is the President of Rosebrook Real Estate Company.

ask former Alderman Kelleher, former Alderman Breeding, former Alderman Duwe, former Mayor Jim Robertson

Every citizen in Crestwood is a watchdog especially when you have a private pool next to City Hall that has public official members.

Who's idea was to build a private pool next to a police station and keep the name Crestwood?

Crestwood Swim Club could change their name to SPPP which stands for Safe Private Party Pool!

The check for $1.00 from the City to Crestwood swim club seems to me missing.

I am going to send the City clerk an FOIA form requesting a copy of it, so we shall see.

The famed books have all the other copies of checks and transfers, but no $1.00 check.

Maybe it was a "cash" deal, and there is a reciept for it at City hall.

At any rate we still need the club to request a change of address for that liquor license, and soon please!

Tom, why dont you call the swim club and ask them about it? Why dont you contact the swim club authorities directly rather than contacting everyone else. If this really is such a deep concern to you, and not a big deal, do the swim club a favor and give them a call and tell them. That would be the courteous thing to do. But instead, you choose to cut and paste and hide in behind your blog rather than participating in any sort of community building activity or committee. You say you dont have time to serve on legitimate committees, but you have an awful lot of time to do research on line....Sad.

Ask the Missouri Liquor License office when Crestwood Swim Club listed 904 Rayburn.

Then call St. Louis County Revenue to find when 904 Rayburn was not listed for property taxes.

Who is not keeping up with their government documents with a former Alderman as a President?

Is the Kohl's TDD bonds that same as Olive Blvd TDD Revenue Bonds?

"The Bonds have not been registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, or under any state securities or "blue sky" laws. The Bonds are offered pursuant to an exemption from registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission. What happens to the City of Crestwood if Kohl's store closes?

We are heading into a recession similar to the 1970's!

You are trying to find some loophole or technicality to trip up the pool. That is extremely petty. That's fine too, because everything is above board. Your attitude and agenda is transparent and is wearing thin.

If this is the only "big scandal" you have to promote your campaign Mr. Ford--it says that you really don't have much to say to promote your own qualifications....While your supporters are so busy spinning in circles about Crestwood pool, you are bragging about your wonderful interview in the call where you managed to dodge the most important question of all ---whether it is a conflict of interest to be an alderman in the city in which your son is a policemen. It is so sad. you have a special interest group paying for your signs, you are completely misguided when it comes to the FACTS about the finances of the city. All you and your supporters are is MAD. I would bet you couldn't explain all the ins and outs of a TIF or a TDD if your life depended on it. How silly that you are just going to wait and see "what the code says if you are elected." Where do you work? What skills are you bringing to the table? If all you can think about to negate the qualifications of your opponent is the one vote in 2001--you must be feeling pretty sceeeered. If you would be elected alderman--how many time would you have to abstain from voting--A LOT--then what is the point of being an alderman?

By the way LOL is an oft used term by those to lazy to write out the full words, at least give us your full attention when trying to slam me.

As I have often said, you want to start a blog, go for it! Heck you could have taken over Mr. Truebloods blog when he lost interest in it. There was your chance to shine, but no, you didn't do that did you.

The poster who wrote about the hit's was correct, each time someone goes there the number advances, but hey someone is either way to bored, or it's being read.

For the record, Mr. Ford is not sour grapes about anything. (I am not a relative or close friend either). So your criticisms are unjust. But then they are falling on deaf ears anyway. You, on the other hand, just might have this affliction from the sound of your notes.

Besides, if I am to think that the new Ward 2 Alderman, Mr. Pickel, subscribes to the same nonsense as the blogger who really is out of reason on this string, I will be sorely disappointed in him. I certainly hope that he is way above this nonsense and is professional enough to keep his nose clean. Ward 2 and Crestwood desperately needs leadership with integrity. I for one am glad he won! As I have said, I no longer have the time to do the job of Commissioner, not to mention Alderman! Things change, and my schedule is sure one of them!

"Blue collar?" You bet I am, and very proud of it my friend! You see we "blue collar" folk don't have the delusions of grandure harbored by the "white collar" types!

We just raise our kids, pay our taxes love our community, our country, and work darn hard every day!

Now, as to the "nepotism thing." You may have noticed that I was in no position to influence anyone on anything when that new rule was applied! If you were to ask Mr. Golterman about it, I am sure he would tell you that!

I didn't ask for it, I coulden't care less about it, and I am out of it 100% so why are your shorts still in a knot?

By the way, shouldent you be in bed by now?
