July 20th. 2007 celebration of the Arban House!

In the above photo we see Mr. Ken Liebel, his daughter Kala, and son Eric in period costume at the celebration!

The program was put on by our local historian Mrs. Jackie Stock, and was a tremendous hit to all who attended!

Folks we need more things like this in Crestwood. This area has a rich history that should not be over looked.

Thanks Jacque for your community spirit. You are to be commended for your reverence to history and Crestwood.

As a person who has many responsibilities, you still maintain and prove your care and love for Crestwood.

With your boundless tenacity and hard work, many residents including myself cannot hold a candle to you in comparison.

Many probably don't remember how great our recycling center was back in the 70's. It was you that single handedly put that together. Some residents were not around when you were a valuable employee at the City of Crestwood, or remember as I, how you were invited by many elementary schools to teach students about the benefits of recycling.

You had posters and information and worked so hard at your job. The recycling center was always busy because of you.

I saw the visual aids you created to bring your words to understanding when you gave your recycling speeches and to illustrate how the recycling system worked. You were an information booth of knowledge and you were such an asset to the City. You did research and went to seminars and came back to your city with a library of information that was above and beyond what most employees could and would do.

I hope others can remember the care and pride you took with your hands on approach to make our recycling center such a great example, so much so that other communities wanted to copy it.

You are a valuable resident and did much for the City of Crestwood. Congratulations for a job well done in the past as well as your care and assistance to your community that still goes on today.
