Missouri ethics commission web site

Time and time again I read on the blog how terrible certain City officials are. About the only thing I haven't seen yet is one of them accused of taking the Lindbergh baby!

If you really believe it's that awful here, I have just made things easy for you!

If you click on the header you will see a Missouri ethics complaint form. Please fill it out, sign your name, and send it in! Simple, you bet, and you can say you did something about the "problem?"

Only one thing my friends, be very sure your right when you do it!

What is the total dollar value for all of the fringe benefits that Crestwood Swim Club/Rosebrook Real Estate Company received for sending their 50 parking spaces for $1.00?

New Sewer System?
New Water Line?
New Electric Lights?
Free Parking for life - eternity?

Please tell our Mayor, Crestwood Swim Club members and Mayor's cousins, thank you for giving THF Realty their $295,000 for a no deed transfer real estate transaction for a "safe pool".

It is great to have a safe pool in the City of Crestwood.

Is Whitecliff a safe pool?

Can we donate some of the $295,000 to the following pools:

Warson Woods?
Brentwood Swim Club?
Mapelwood?
Indian Hills Swim Club?
MacKenzie Swimming Club Inc.?

If you listen to the audio, the author mentions St. Louis!

A Social History of Swimming Pools in America Contested Waters by
Jeff Wiltse

"When black Americans gained equal access to muncipal pools, white swimmers generally abandoned them for private pools. Desegration was a primary cause of the proliferation of private swimming pools that occurred after the mid-1950s."

And when was Crestwood Swim Club/Rosebrook Real Estate Company formed?

1954?

What a coincidence?

Is that why the Crestwood Swim Club members mention the safety of their private pool?

Just state the facts!

No deed transfer!

What was the "payback" for the City of Crestwood to pay only $1.00 for 50 parking spaces from Rosebrook Real Estate Company/Crestwood Swim Club?

Ask Alderman Chris Pickel?

Yes of course the pool gets free sewer, water, electric and trash all paid for by the City. Members kids also get free tuition at SEMO, a lifetime supply of plantars peanuts and all of the gasoline they want at the Quick Trip up on Big Bend.

Tom,
Your Blog has outlived it's usefulness. When the only posts you get sound like a broken record or a parrot that says the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again, it get's very old. See what I mean? It's the old addage, Garbage in, Garbage out.

9:59 PM blogger: Well it sure isn't the "private" one! In fact I don't hang out at a pool, a bar, a swim club, or a pool hall!

If I wanted a pool, I would build one in my back yard (we blue collar folk's do that,) and not in someone elses back yard!

9:48 PM blogger: How can you say that? Why, I have managed to raise your ire, your blood pressure, and if your not careful, your heart rate!

I think it's doing a marvelous job from where I sit!

Actually, the pool WAS built in their own backyard. It was built on their property that they owned for close to 50 years. Property that the other folks did not own. Also, arent you a member of the Masons. Can women be Masons? Is that a private club? Is it selective in its memberships? ARe there any African American or Asian members?

Why yes I am a member of the Masonic lodge (32nd degree, and very proud of it!)

The masons are not a "private club" but rather open to all that ask to join! We have African American's (Prince Hall,) Asian, Hispanic, Russian, Jew's, and just about everyone you can think of as members!

In fact it's a world wide group of people dedicated to helping one another. If I were to be stranded in Iraq a brother Mason would be honor bound to see that I returned home safely, Would a swim club member do that?

You really should get a book or two and read up on the lodge. Why we might eaven accept you!

Now as to the back yard remark, tell that to the folks on Bali Ct. and see what response you garner!

Well, once again you speek from the heart, but with no knowledge of what you speak of!

The answer is NO! There is the Masonic order of the Eastern Star for the ladies, and for the younger women, the Job's Daughter's!

By the way, the order (Male or Female) does not require that a "family photo" be sent in with the application. Now who would do that in this day an age?

By the way, is the Knights of Columbus for Cathlic's only?, do they have any of the lost 50%?

Try another subject my friend, your a lost soul on this one.

Wrong again, but hey your consistant! I know plenty of people of the catholic faith in masonry. It was my religion (luthern) that had a hard time of it, but they got over it!

I think the K of C was formed so they could have a sword in church (just kidding)

He served as alderman with Gary Vincent, both of whom had input on the movememt of the swim club to its disastrous location. Why, then, is Mr. Golterman advising this board in any way shape or form about paying teh 295,000 to THF?????????

Whatcha wanna bet no one answers this blog?

Wanna bet? THIS WOULD BE A SCREAM! If you remember, Mr. Bland had no problem with sending out literature on the day before the vote, saying his opponent was for "eminent domanin" eaven when he knew it wasn't true!

His actions on the dias (ignoring the citizens when thy speak, as well as his so called background in "criminal justice") do not show me any "leadership" at all!

In fact, quite the opposite. He is a typical "bureaucrat," one with knowledge of his area, but nothing more!
