Executive Secretary

City of Crestwood

Ladies and Gentlemen, if you can be there please do. These are our tax dollars they will be discussing here so it's vital we attend and tell them what WE want.

I also note that the much discussed "bond sales vote" is conspicuous by it's absence on the agenda! Pray tell, what happened to that most important part of the deal?

Why don't you ask your buddy the Mayor and his c/a where the bond info is?

Tom,

Haven't your heard!

There is a shortfall of monies to do all of the work so there may be another TDD or CID issued.

Just like City of Creve Couer. They were short $2,067,141 so the Board and the Mayor approved another TDD to fund the first TDD shortfall. Great financing.

When you go over budget, just add another TDD or CID?

The Kohl's shoppers would pay another 1% sales tax.

Ask Attorney Robert Klahr from Armstrong Teasdale how a 2nd TDD can finance the 1st TDD shortfall of $2,067,141.

All for a stoplight.

If we are planning on getting another TDD and CID for City Hall work, can we add a flag pole for Crestwood Swim Club U.S. Flag.

Their U.S. Flag needs a proper home instead of being on the wall to a bathroom.

Are they socialist or socialites?

The mayor is not my buddy, he's your's. You ask him for all of us loyal readers, isn't that the idea behind your blog, all the news with out all the paper?

11:46 AM blogger: I will ask him, and all the others at the TDD meeting.

I just thought you might like to join me. But I forgot, you can't do that and remain "anonymous" now can you?

It must be sad not having the courage of your convictions to come out and say what you believe!

But then again, I guess hiding in the shadows might be the best thing for you, and the rest of the "hero's" from your group who are "all hat and no cow's!"

There sure are a lot of "HEROS" who agree with you and remain anonymous on your blog, so I guess they also are a lot of hat and no cow. Agree?

Ask Attorney Robert Klahr from Armstrong Teasdale how a 2nd TDD can finance the 1st TDD shortfall of $2,067,141.

Simple, through a property tax.

Next question?

Can any support the claim made on this blog that there is a shortfall of monies, therefore Kohl's will need another TDD? Some address on the city website supporting this claim would be a great idea.

Is it true that Kohl's is short about $100,000 for the lawyer fees?

Sam's TDD is short $5,000!

Who is tracking all of the shortfalls with these development tools?

Since the TDDs and CIDs are separate political subdivisions at the State Level, why can't Crestwood TDDs pay off the Creve Coeur TDDs?

Creve Coeur is only short $2 million on their 1st TDD that has need been started.

Imagine how Olive Blvd will look.

One store will have 1/2 % extra sales tax, the next store will have 3/8 % extra sales tax, and the next store will have 1 % extra sales tax.

Pretty sold these TDDs will have a toll charge to pay for all of the shortfalls!

I really don't have a dog in the swim club fight that takes up so much space on this blog. I could care less, but I found it interesting that this blog provides the URL to the Crestwood-pooling blog. So I went there hoping for some insight on this issue, but you know what, the owner/author of the blog has chosen to remain anonymous!
Why?
What are they hiding?
What are they afraid of?

I would have thought that as stong as they feel on this issue and with all the facts they have in support of their position, they would be upfront with they are? Really lowers my belief in stand they are taking that they don't want their name known.

good point, also, what does a bunch of documents that are available to the public prove? Is there more to the story? What is the agenda of the owner of that particular blog? Why wont they identify themselves. Is it Tom Ford?

7:15, 8:03, 11:40 bloggers: Well now that we have a "mystery blog" to read we might have some fun here.

I linked it to mine because I thought it was an interesting read. If nothing else it is a very well researched window into the TIF, TDD, CID arena that the curent crop of developers are touting.

Like you, I do not know who the blogmaster is, nor do I know if all the items are correct. I do know that the following Crestwood Citizens are not a part of it though.

Martha Duchild
Tom Ford
The Clarks
The Murphy's
The swim club people (right?)

Now as to "who done it," well who do you all think it is? I have an opinion (I will keep it to myself, so don't ask.) But I really don't know for sure.

I do know for sure that the afore mentioned people are not part of it. ( well I don't know for sure it's not some pool stockholder gone to the dark side, but I would doubt it.)

Let's have some fun for a change. The first blogger to flush out the blogmaster of the "Crestwood-pooling" and prove it will win a front row seat at the next BOA meeting (or you can have a back row seat, your choice!)

9:41 pm you just amaze me!! You and others just love to slam Tom Ford on his blog. His answers to you, none the less, are always much too gracious, as Tom never volleys back to you with the same foolishness or smart-mouth attitude.

If you really dispise him as you so suggest as well as calling him "a liar", I don't understand why you would be stupid enough to read his blog in the first place.

Did you forget we live in a free country and you are under no obligation to read his blog or comment??? You can even start one of your own, and spare us from having to read your tripe.

I would suggest you just stop visiting Tom's website. The blog police won't come after you and I, for one, would love to see you put a sock in your mouth and spare the rest of us from wasting our time.

We get the picture. You are a very unhappy person.

We all know you can post under anonymous, but will you come in person, or do you have "better" things to do?

I will be at the 9:00AM TDD meeting, and I think you know what I look like (see photo,)so please come say hello.

By the way if you can post at 9:48, you can attend a 9:00AM meeting cant you?

9:41 AM blogger: I have been informed that the TDD, bond sale meeting will not happen as scheduled!

It seems that after all these years of work, the lawyers, bond salesmen, and developers still don't have the figures to present us!

I am devistated, I was so hoping to greet you at the meeting, and kabitz with you on the state of the pool, and other weighty matters reference Crestwood!

Alas, I shall go to work, and who knows, miss my chance forever to be allowed the opportunity to learn from your vast storehouse of knowledge!
