Write in Alderman Roby for Mayor in April '08 and put an end to this type of behaviour.
Have you discussed this with Alderman Roby? Does he want to be mayor?
If everybody who is unhappy with current mayor writes Alderman Roby in for mayor, he will be happy.

I would vote for Alderman Roby because he is consistent and logical.

Was there a printing error in his compaign literature on his FBI work history?
How long did Mayor Robinson work for the FBI?
What was he trained in? Defense Mapping errors? Government Accounting Fraud? Bonds?
Please let the public know the truth about our Mayor's FBI work experience.

10:33AM blogger: Unless I miss my guess I don't believe Mayor Robinson was ever with the FBI. It is my recollection that he was a fraud investigation specialist with the Air Force.
I have never heard him say he was "with" the FBI, although he may well have worked with them, or been TTY to the FBI for special investigations.
That's my take on it, but I will ask him and let you know.

I have a souvenir FBINA pin from working at the FBI National Academy retraining conference in St. Louis in 1988, so they are not all that hard to come by.
I doubt he was looking at log books, probably more like contract fraud.

I am a strong supporter of Roy Robinson, nothing more, and nothing less!
I know you find this hard to believe in your concentric circle of friends but some of us believe Roy is doing a very good job with what he has to work with.
So far all I have seen is the rantings of hate directed at him with no real reason other than you don't like him!
Put up your $5.00, get the signatures and tell us why you are a better person to be Mayor!

Yeah, Roy is the reason for everything that has happened in this city even before he was born. He is also responsible for the sumani's, volcano eruptions, and most of the floods that have occurred in the Midwest.

Trust me, Tom, as much as some people have professed their hatred for Roy on this blog, there will be at least one who will run against him. They are just waiting until the last minute to create suspense. There are so many that someone will run against him at the very last minute for drama.

It's not so much a dig at Roy; it's more of a dig at all the fools who voted for him!!
8:31 am There are even bigger fools out there. Those who chose to keep the status quo as it was.
There are none so blind than those who refuse to see.
Considering the options, a vote for Roy for Mayor was the sound one. The FagaGree troop was a travesty. This one was a no brainer. Roy, not perfect, has made the C word, change. And for the most part considerable. Compared to the last group, measurable.
In answer to an earlier blogger, if a competitor would run for Mayor who has swim club backing or is a member and in the know on this issue or friend of same, or official who was around during the pool fracas oon a board or vociferous on the issue, you will see a pool expose that will curl your IRS form. They will need to be armed with answers which cannot be made public without serious ramifications. Now, this should in no way be considered a threat my fair feathered bloggers, it is mere fact. It would simply be the catalyst to get some not so tidy facts wayyyyyyyy out in the open and illuminate them. It is simply time to get officials who have agendas which match the average Crestwood resident and whose politics, church affiliation or membership in a private club do not let the tail wag the dog.
