The Suncrest Call newspaper, this weeks edition.

Please click on the header for the Story on why we need to "layer" another ordinance on top of the City Charter, and the State law to "force" our politicians to do the right thing!

While you are reading this please don't miss the quote from Alderman Bland that said he dosen't believe this was a "malevolent" act on the part of the City employees!

Lord, I hope not Richard! Because if it was, this act was even more egregious than I thought!

Tom Ford

William Webster, the former Missouri Attorney General who became known for defending a state law restricting abortion, was given the maximum sentence of two years in prison on Tuesday on Federal charges involving the use of state employees and equipment in his campaign for governor last year.

I'm pretty sure it's a BIG DEAL to use government employees and resources to further a campaign issue or candidate. If nothing happens to those involved in this scandal in Crestwood, then someone owes Bill Webster an apology.

Good try but nothing will happen. The mayor doesn't want the details out in the publc eye so you won't know the truth (especially with the spinless aldermen we have representing the public)

ok, then how about this from an article on Sarah Palin in the American Thinker:
As I watched her successful run for governor over the next six months, I was really impressed. In fact I already was impressed greatly even before that, after she resigned a good position (Alaska Gas and Oil Regulatory Commission) because a fellow Commission member (Chair of the Alaska Republican Party) misused his office and position. He was using the fax, computers, printing room and all to promote the Republican endeavors while in a state job. That is a huge no-no in any government employment position.

Looks like what we need is an OUTSIDE investigation into this mess. Who cares what Golterman says?

Not sure if the lack of spine or desire to keep details out of public eye will effect the investigation of the State. Remember how the State Audit effected the City?

So why do an investigation then? You already have your mind made up. If it goes one way, your way - you will say it was on the up and up. If it goes the other way, you will call it lack of spine and not coming forth with all the details. I don't even know why anybody would bother with it. It isn't going to change anything for those like you who are totally against everything all the time no matter what you are told.
