Crestwood Residents have but one major job tomorrow, and that is!

GET OUT AND VOTE! I know it's going to be cold, and you have many other "pressing" items on you agenda, but PLEASE, VOTE!

Remember the photo's of the Iraqi citizens with the "purple finger" who braved suicide attacks and gunfire to use their new found rights? Can yo do any less just because "it's cold?"

By now all of us have made up our minds as to whom to vote for, so please do not let the usual last minute innuendo, and outright falsehoods told by the desperate cloud your thinking!

This election is much, much too important for that!

Tom,

I agree!
My wife, and I cast our votes as always. I don't remember ever not voting. My choices don't always win, but at least we did our duty.
If you don't vote, you can't (or shouldn't) complain about the results.

Does anyone know how many registered voters there are in Crestwood, at the present time?
Thanks.

I finally found the place for voting statistics on the Board of Election Commisioners web site.

The info is kind of depressing. We have 9338 registered voters, and of those, 1420 voted. This is only 15.21%!

Even though this was "only a city" election, this seems pretty low.

I guess over 84% of the residents don't care who runs our city. That is pitiful.

It seems that way doesn't it John!

Very sad when you match up Crestwood with Iraq, where people braved suicide bombers and gunfire to vote!

Complacency is the mother of bad Government, and Lord knows that has been revealed to us.
