Mayor Robinson welcomes the new Alderman, well most of them.

The mayor did a stellar job introducing all the new Alderpersons last night with the exception of one.

When it came time to introduce Alderman Paul Duchild, he couldn't seem to say the name. He tried a couple of times to no avail, and Alderman Miguel finally said "Alderman Duchild."

Other than that I am told the evening went very well even with the City Attorney missing in action (with no replacement.)

Welcome to all the new Alderpersons, and may success follow your flags!

What do you expect, Tom? Roy is a little boy in big boy pants. He's Porky Pig. He's Boss Hog. He's our mayor....good grief. Until I can no longer say that, I will tremble at the audacity of Roy. Obama wrote a book called "The Audacity of Hope." Someone should write a local novella called "The Audacity of Roy." Something tells me it would be a funny read! For such a big Republican, he sure is all about government control at a local level.

Really, I just think it's funny that Roy boy Jack Bazzell, who may or may not be dead if you ask the South County Times rag, got pounded by Alderman Duchild. Something tells me that won't be the only time that Mr. Duchild embarrasses Roy Boy.

Well, it almost seems as if it was too much for "His Honor" to recite the name Duchild!

One get's the impression that the very name Duchild strikes fear in his heart if not a re-occurring nightmare!

"The King is dead (Alderman Nieder, long live the King (Alderman Duchild!")

I believe he ("His Honor") knows the heat will be on, and he is not looking forward to the questions posed by the new Alderpersens come next month!
