Once again mr. Anthony has nailed it my friends. How long can Crestwood put up with this "Napoleon complex?" We deserve better than this, and we deserve it sooner rather than later! Roy, I don't know what has happened to you since your second term election, but it's not a good thing believe me.
You have made statements on the Dias reference business not wanting to locate in Crestwood due to all the negative publicity, and for once I agree with you. However have you ever considered that YOU may be the major source of "negative publicity" for Crestwood? I fear you remarks from the Dias have rendered us a laughing stock in S. Louis County, and you have become an ineffective, and tainted leader at best, and at worst a yammering buffoon only concerned with hearing himself talk.Alderman Miguel asked you to apologize, I will take it a step further and ask that you consider resigning.

Yup, just what we have come to expect from our wonderful mayor. You remember the guy who came riding in on a white horse, turns out he's a failure as a mayor, just like he was in his only non federal job. He was a P.I. Mike Hammer must have been shaking is his shoes.

Now however, in the last two years the man has changed to the point where I don't know him anymore.
I guess if I have any defense it would be that I am loyal beyond where I should be. I like to believe that there is no better friend than Tom Ford, but conversely, there is no worse enemy!

The call. Really... the call is one of the worst papers ever written - Mike Anthony (who never has a personal agenda.. ha) says "...Roy's shoot-from-the-hip comments are a continual source of embarrassment to Crestwood and its citizens."
I say, no sir your very paper is an embarrassment to Crestwood.

There is an important distinction that you overlooked: The Call newspaper is not an elected representative of the city, Roy Robinson is.

Gee, I think all two of them are back if you look at the previous posts.
The give and take of Crestwood politics has a life of it's own as seen right here on this blog. Now if we only had a really good scandal to look into, life would be great!
Given the time and resource's, I am sure someone at City Hall will provide something, say how about "Prop S?"

Is it just me...or does this sound like Hizzonor himself?
Former Private Eye (a failure at that) and current Mayor, Roy Robinson (and a failure at this as well) continues to embarass the City ans it's citizens that pays his wages. If he is so good at what he does, how come his wife never ever allowed him to work for her family's business? It's because she knew he would be a failure there and might drag down their company. The only place he could get and keep a job was one that accepted performance levels that were
"good enough for government work".
And guess what, he's working in government again. But now he doesnt have the rules and regs. of big govt to protect him losing his job. He can be removed by his employers, we the voters of Crestwood.

Nah, cant be the mayor, too many complete thoughts in a row.
Mayors race aside, you should not give Anthony ANY credit for anything. He doesn't run a newspaper. He runs a bought and paid for endorsement rag. Whomever buys the most ads gets his endorsement. Start paying attention to the ads vs endorsements in the future.
