This is your chance to meet the candidates for Alderman on Tuesday night, March 30, 2010 at the community room in Crestwood Court's center. Both Mr. Steve Nieder and Mr. John Foote will be in attendance and the forum will be sponsored by the Sunset Hills / Crestwood Chamber of Commerce, and the League of Women Voters.

I was there.
Decent, but not huge crowd. Well organized, and run. All five candidates were there. All got along OK, and gave reasonable answers to pre-submitted, and chosen by the moderator (LOWV), questions.
My opinion:
Duncan
Very few notes, good answers.
Schlink
No notes, excellent answers.
Miguel
Seemed to read everything from a thick binder.
Nieder
Had some notes. Gave good answers.
Foote
Had notes. Gave good answers.
All in all, it was very informative, and I'm glad I went. Too bad more people weren't there.
It would have been interesting to have questions from the floor, but I guess the LOWV have found that it can get rowdy that way.
