Crestwood's first female Firefighter to retire. (click here for the Times story)

Nancy Willison will be retiring soon after 25 years with the Crestwood Fire Department ! Nancy came aboard when being a female on a Fire Department was a bit of a rarity, and has served our citizens well ever since !

Nancy we wish you well in your newly found leisure, and it really must be nice to know that "alarms" are a thing of the past!

God bless you and thank you for your dedicated service to me, my family, and the City of Crestwood !

I would like to second Tom's comments.

And, I would also like to thank all of her co-workers too. A few weeks ago I needed their services, and I am REALLY glad they are there when we need them!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

John Nailed it my friends! At 0135 this morning we had the pleasure of their company when my wife fell for the second time this week!

She is now resting (albeit un-comfortably at St. Anthony's Medical Center.

I have seen Fire, paramedics and Police before doing their job, and I wish to thank them, and tell you that we have an excellent group, and the response time is next to none!

As previously stated the Crestwood Para Medics and Police did a 4.0 job this morning at my house.

Now for an up-date to them, she did in fact have a broken spine, and had you not insisted that she go to the Hospital, well ?

Well done to all of you, and thank God Crestwood has such dedicated employees such as yourselves!

Tom:

You're lucky you live in Crestwood. My County taxbill has me paying $500 bucks just to the Mehlville Fire District. Crestwood should cut the Animial Control and all the other little stuff that has been outlined. THEN they should ask residents to pay JUST half of what surrounding areas pay for fire protection... there wouldn't be anymore budget problems. Crestwood residnets have it sooooo good!
