Crestwood named the best place to raise a family! (click here for the story.)

Now were talking! This is a real honor that we can all share in. I think that if the economy ever comes back they way it should, Crestwood will be attracting Lot's of developers which is exactly what we want!

Remember, "retail follows roof top's" and in this case, well who wouldn't want to live in the "BEST PLACE TO RAISE KIDS IN MISSOURI?" Well done fellow Crestwoodians, we have arrived!

I have always been proud of Crestwood. I was never one of the negative voices who hated everything. This has always been a great place to live with excellent schools. Mall, schmall. Crestwood is always a neat little town.

5:38 Am Bloggers:

Well ladies we are in a great town that is indeed a fabulous place to raise a family.

My wife and I have lived in this same house for over 42 years now, and we raised two sons who are now police officers (one Chief, and one detective.)

The "kids" always had more than enough sports activities thanks to the Crestwood Khory League and the Lindbergh school district, and the parks were always a joy to us.

Crestwood has always been great, but over the years we have had the "GOOD,THE BAD AND THE UGLY" as far as leadership goes. Now I say that because when it's bad I am going to say so (hence the Blog) so please don't mistake my comments for hatred of Crestwood for nothing could be further from the truth.

Is anti-Muslim sentiment at Crestwood venue an echo of Nazi Germany?

http://www.stltoday.com/lifestyles/faith-and-values/tim-townsend/is-anti-muslim-sentiment-at-crestwood-venue-an-echo-of/article_719308af-5b12-570c-9331-84f78eb34e9a.html

What is your opinion of this article on the City of Crestwood?

Shall we start a writing campaign to the St. Louis Post Dispatch?

Shall we review our guidelines for reserving our City Hall Aldermen's Chamber room?

Shall we have Tim Townsend come to an open public Town Hall meeting to hear his views of the City of Crestwood?

3:40 PM Blogger: I understand your frustration completely, trust me!

That said however after careful soul searching I have come to the following conclusions.

1. Tim Townsend,really, who?

2. Our citizens did not run the meeting.

3. People "quoted" were never identified by anyone.

4. Change, why? It's a public room.

5. Leave the dog lie, forget it.

And besides I have it on very good authority that the group he mentioned is less than thrilled as they had no part in it, ergo let them "shoot the messenger."

Notice i did not put it on the Blog? Well that's because NO ONE (besides us) saw it, no one cares, and please do not give it any credence by replying to it.

Tom,

Is it true that the extreme right or extreme left groups are the ones that can destroy a democratic state by creating fear?

Is that how they succeeded?

ANd hate has to censured?

Shall we not rent out the City Hall room to anyone to prevent causing fear in others?

What is the ordinance and/or resolution for other Cities for renting out their City Hall Alderman's chamber room to any group?

Shall the City of Crestwood require a 501-C letter to show proof who is renting out a public room plus a copy of their driver's license and a list of attendee's?

Did you notice how this article was viewed on International News sites?

Why are there two Gravois Township Republican groups?

1. Gravois Township Republican

2. New Conservative Gravois Township Republican http://www.stlcountygop.org/Gravois.php

The New Gravois Township Conservative Republican Party is meeting Wed Jan 26th at 7:00 p.m. at Crestwood City Halls Aldermen’s Chambers(Auditorium) Located at One Detjen Drive in Crestwood Mo. 63126

Crestwood City Hall is off Sappington Rd. just north of Kohls Dept Store on Watson.

Any and all Residence of the Gravois Township are not only welcome, but encouraged to attend this meeting. Also any Conservative person wanting to get involved in their Townships political process, to meet with their neighbors, and share with them, ideas and concerns about how we as townships can help to take back our country from the Liberal Radicals. These Radical Liberals keep trying to dissuade us from enforcing what was Planned by our Creator, and given to our forefathers by which to govern our Nation and for the division of powers, so that our destiny does not rest in the hands of one person, which is what they established thru writing of our Great United States Constitution.

Tom,

Can you please check into why the City Alderman's Chamber is being rented or reserved to anyone outside of the City's business?

We have been in the paper twice!!!

Feedback: "I find it very scary..."

The Alderman's Chamber is where our ordinances and resolutions are passed for our freedoms and rights which is similar to our State and Federal buildings.

Does the State of Missouri Capitol and the U.S. Congress rent out or reserve their chambers to any groups outside of their government meetings? What is their process?
