A bit of levity reference next weeks convention in Charolett, N.C.
I received this from a very good friend (former college professor, and later Dean of the university.) I know he didn't write it, but he has a great sense of humor, and I present it as such.
No matter which side of the 'aisle' you come down on, we are all going to need a sense of humor to get through the next 70 some days without making reservations at 'shady acres for a "vacation." So without further eloquence, the schedule for the Democrat convention!

well, gotta say, as a Republican, I am sad to admit. Bill Clinton's speech last night hit a home run. Nothing in Tampa was even in that league, and I don't even like Clinton much. But that was a heck of a speech. Unfortunately for Mr. Romney, the line that's everywhere today is:".. he summarized the entire Republican message in a devastating soundbite: "We left him a total mess. He hasn't cleaned it up fast enough. So fire him and put us back in." Romney needs to get busy to counter this one. And I mean fast.
