And now this by Mr. Mike Anthony of the CALL, well said sir!

In case this "link" is in-op. I will give you another one, and a strong suggestion that you pick up your copy of the Call, read this story, and then if you live in Ward One, contact Alderman Duncan and tell her how you feel about this, for as the man Say's,your either happy, or your not.

Were this the end of the story it could be said that it could be chalked up to exuberance, but once you tell the constituents that if they don't like what your doing, they can vote you out, it becomes a wee bit more, no?

In any case this is starting to cost Crestwood real money as Alderman Duncan's name appears on a bill as a "telecoms" item at $200.00 per hour, no less.

I am reminded of that erstwhile Senator Everett Dirksen who once said, "A billion here, a billion there, before you know it it's real money!"

Alderman Duncan, may we please cut the gab fest here before "it's real money?"

So. Just how many hours has Mimi burned?

What is the total bill to date?

Who is billing the city?

Did the BOA authorize the expenditure?

This story from the CALL is interesting when you consider that Alderman Duncan's offered reasoning for making calls on her own is that "she must have accurate information to make a decision."

Now, who does she call for that information? Why by her own admission she calls the developer and the planners.

Isn't that sort of like calling the fox in the hen house to ask if the doors are locked? Who is looking out for whom, and is the fox going to "give accurate information? You think about it and form your own conclusions.
