Well this is certainly a bit of a sticky wicket for those who rammed through the worst piece of legislation I have ever seen, or heard of.

Union leaders are not at all happy about the lies told by the President and his democrat cronies reference "If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan."

No indeed, in fact they too have found that their health care cost's have indeed sky rocketed, and in some cases their rank and file have been excluded from insurance period.

"Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive!"

this blog isn't too much about Crestwood, is it? It seems far more tuned to your political preferences on a national scale.

9:48 PM Blogger: This Blog is about what I am interested in at the time, International, National, State wide, and Crestwood to name a few.

If you want more about Crestwood I will be all to happy to do it, just send me an Email of what you want to talk about and I will put it up as a main thread.

The rules are simple, no nasty words, no personal attacks, and no post's referencing anyone that you can't back up.

If a Blogger wishes to do the above, they MUST sign their post so we all know where it's coming from.

Now, all that said, do you have anything you want me to put up for you? If so, send it to: tford60@earthlink.net, and as long as it meet's the guide lines, it will be done.

As I always do, I am inviting ALL sides of the Mayoral race to post here, just make sure it's devoid of emotion's, (and, all "fact's" will be checked.)

One last thing, if a blogger really believes in their post and has the courage of their conviction's, why not SIGN THEIR REAL NAME?

If a person does not do that, I believe they are not to be taken seriously as they DO NOT display the courage that shows they believe what they are saying.

Forget Obama--we have more local problems to take care of:

Please vote Stenger or Republican...this guy has got to go

No, I will not forget about Obama or his failed liberal policy's, or his breaking of his oath of office or his proven lies to Americans, or his failure to lead at Benghazi.
No, I will not forget to vote against Dooley, who if Obama had a son who look like him.

I can do two things at once in the voter booth in November.

I strongly urge you and other readers to do the same.
Vote for them most conservative person(s) on the ballet. We must turn back the destruction of our liberty by liberalism.

Liberalism is the not the solution, liberalism s the problem.

9:36 AM Blogger: Please remember what Sir Winston Churchill said about Liberty, that being:

"There are four pillars of Liberty, the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box, Please use them in that order."

True today as it was then.

How did you know that?
Sneaking around my windows again?
Classy.

Like a Coke ad has anything to do with the insanity that allows you to believe that the loss of 2.3 million American jobs is a good thing.

Liberalism is not the solution. liberalism is the problem.

I'm glad the South County Times also provides local news coverage. The Staff Reporters at the Call do a good job, but the editorials are just awful--they make the Post-Dispatch editorial board look well-reasoned.

5:02 PM BLOGGER: I take it you may be a supporter of the MCU or " the man who would be Mayor?"

The Call tells it like it is, sometimes we don't agree, but saying they are like the Post, really, REALLY?

They are like the Post in that they are constantly pushing an agenda, facts be damned. They go out of their way to take shots against those they disagree with, and protect those who share their opinion. I like my news fair and balanced.

While Mr. Anthony works on revisionist history now that the project is dead in the water, the fact remains is that he is the editor of a very local newspaper. He has no experience with development projects.

PGAV, who has worked on hundreds of such projects, called out the BOA and the mayor for not understanding the redevelopment process. It wouldn't have cost Crestwood anything to go forward with the TIF commission and see if Centrum could procure leases. When considering who was wrong about the process, I will side with PGAV over Mr. Anthony.

8:39 PM BLOGGER: PGAV had two different ideas in two years for the project, remember? Speaking of "revisionist history," there were three opinions from planners on this and the last one suggested a park!

Did you want a park, did you want a rubber stamp Board, did you want to give up 34 million for nothing, or are you just politicking as Mr. Anthony suggested?

I'll stay ith Mr. Anthony, I think he knows a lot more than the MCU about this.

Interesting thoughts here:

"This is an excellent article that I highly recommend. It is important to understand the thinking of big government proponents who are against the freedom and liberty of individuals making their own choices. A few snippets and the link are below.

“Statism is an inherently pessimistic philosophy. Its core assumption is that people will not do the right thing, if left to their own devices.”

“Everything the government does is a choice taken away from the individual. Even nominally benevolent subsidies represent the atrophy of choice. You may be led by carrots on sticks, or prodded with a bayonet in the back, but you still aren’t going where you would have freely chosen to go.”

“What’s “optimistic” about telling people, in countless ways, that they cannot trust each other? That’s the message delivered every time commerce and voluntary cooperation are made more difficult by government intervention. There is no way to demand trust in the State without draining away our faith in each other, and ourselves. If the Left really thought the American economy was on the verge of taking flight, they would make the government smaller, so that we’d have more room to spread our wings.”

Read the full essay here.

The midterm election is not far off; our opportunity to have a say in the way government affects our lives!
